Branding (and project management)

for a podcast on the transcending

potentials of sound.

Client:

A Kind of Harmony

Project:

A Kind of Harmony podcast, hosted by Julia E. Dyck and Amanda Harvey, explores sound’s potential for connection, transcendence, and healing. Each episode features conversations with practitioners on sound’s intersection with queerness, sexuality, race, and gender, and includes unique sound pieces by participants like Beverly Glenn Copeland and Nick Dourado.

Mutual Design developed the podcast’s visual identity for web streaming and social media, including a logo, colorway, typography, and promotional assets. The design process, guided by keywords like "soft," "modern," and "abstract," involved creative questionnaires and feedback sessions. The result blends geometric shapes, a grainy look, and both serif and sans-serif fonts.
